We harvest what we cultivate.

You asked us to gather again. And we listened.

When we gathered around our inaugural NOURISH Long Table, something beautiful happened. Sixty women arrived, many not knowing who they would sit beside, and for a few hours we slowed down, shared food, stories, laughter and meaningful conversation.

Community was medicine.

And when the evening ended, we heard you.

Can we do this again?

Can we stay a little longer?

Can there be more time to mingle, sip, shop and connect?

And next time... can we dance?

The answer is yes.

On October 29, Hype with Heart invites you to the second gathering in our Long Table series:

HARVEST

This time, we're gathering at the stunning Arbutus Meadows for an abundant fall experience rooted in everything we love about this place we call home.

Come early and wander our HARVEST Market, thoughtfully filled with local makers, growers and women-led businesses. Sip something delicious. Discover something new. Meet the people behind the ventures. Linger.

Then, as afternoon turns to evening, we'll gather around one beautiful long table where Chef Selena of The Secret Table will nourish us with a comforting, locally inspired HARVEST feast celebrating the season and the abundance growing right here on Vancouver Island.

There will be conversation.

There will be storytelling.

There will be connection.

There will be time to linger.

And yes, there will be music and an invitation to move and groove, because we're adding another one to the list:

Food is medicine.

Community is medicine.

Connection is medicine.

Music is medicine too.

HARVEST is about more than what comes from the land.

It's about what happens when we tend to the things that matter.

The friendships we nurture.

 The businesses we support.

 The ideas we bring to life.

 The communities we care for.

 The love we put into the world.

Because we harvest what we cultivate.

And when we gather, support local, share what we have and make room for one another, those small acts create ripples far beyond the table.

Suzanne Hedges is the founder and heart behind Hype with Heart Collective.

With a career rooted in tourism, hospitality, events and community-building, Suzanne has spent years bringing people together and championing the people, places and businesses that make Vancouver Island extraordinary.

A natural connector and lifelong believer in the power of gathering, she creates experiences where beautiful details have purpose, local relationships are celebrated, and people have permission to slow down, be present and truly connect.
